We were supposed to have a traditional, signature newborn session when Steele was born in June. But COVID. So we did a simple newborn in the studio and waited to do family pictures outdoors. I love shooting at the NC Museum of Art and I think a lot of other photographers do too. The park was literally flooded with everyone in their fall best and photographers trying to find that perfect spot. I have never seen it so crowded. People were having to park illegally! I was a little worried we wouldn’t get a “good spot” and I didn’t even attempt to go near my favorite places, but I found a beautiful area where the light was perfect and NO ONE was around! Aren’t they a beautiful family?!
